(July 6, 2007) - Alexander Marine, the manufacturer of the Ocean Alexander yachts, is proud to announce the planned launch of a new addition to the motoryacht line, the new Ocean Alexander 88', at the 20th Annual Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami of 2008. In collaboration with Ed Monk, this new Ocean Alexander 88' includes many of the qualities that the market has come to expect from an Ocean Alexander. The solid hull construction along with use of aluminum I-beam helped to create one of the strongest and seaworthy yachts of this size range.
With a generous beam of 22', the accommodation aboard the new 88' can be compared with those usually found on much larger yachts. Upon entering the boat, on can truly appreciate the attention to the extra beam in the space that it provides for the salon as well as the dining area. Also, with a full beam Master Suite, midship on the lower level, this boat gives any owner the true luxurious feel of a cruising aboard a megayacht. All Ocean Alexanders incorporate large amounts of exotic woods, however, the new 88' takes this to another level. The boat is fabricated with Saepelle and exotic burl woods that is extensively used throughout the boat to provide a warmth and a richness that has steadily become an Ocean Alexander trademark. With the incredible craftsmanship combined with the tried and true hull designs from Ed Monk, the new Ocean Alexander 88 Motoryacht is anticipated to meet the new market desires with a great response.

About Alexander Marine
Alexander Marine, a family owned and operated boat manufacturer, currently builds the Ocean Alexander, Classicco and Veloce models. There are two factories handling all of the manufacturing, one located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the other in Shanghai, China. Since the late 1970's, Alexander Marine has built over 2000 boats to date, ranging from 45' up to 100'.
