Ocean Alexander Continues to Grow
KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN (April 2, 2009) - Alexander Marine, the manufacturer of Ocean Alexander
yachts is on the move continuing with implementation of its growth and expansion
plans based on strong sales and the introduction of several new yacht and
megayacht models.
The southeast dealership, Ocean Alexander of Florida, has opened a new branch
sales office on prestigious Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. The Las Olas location will
support Ocean Alexander's venture into the megayacht market segment with the 2008
FLIBS introduction of OA's megayacht series as well as their brokerage and the
beginning of a yacht charter business. Beyond expanding into the megayacht
segment, Alexander Marine recently introduced a new Extended Cruiser Trawler Series
at 54' and 60', as well as a brand new 68' pilothouse motoryacht. The new model
introductions, designed by renowned naval architects and designers, Evan Marshall,
Ed Monk and Destry Darr, place Ocean Alexander in the forefront of the new model
introductions in the market place.
In support of their expanded product line and new sales location, several new people
and positions have been added to the organization. Two veteran brokers have come
on board with Ocean Alexander at the new Las Olas location, Mr. Roy Sea and Mr.
Louis Dvorak. One of Ocean Alexander's most successful brokers, Ms. Yolanda
Phinney, will be staffing the Newport, RI sales office for the summer of 2009. Ocean
Alexander Marine Yacht Sales in Seattle, WA, has added an additional veteran broker,
Mr. Kevin Piper to their newly remodeled office on Lake Union.
