Jeff Oliver, Yacht Consultant

Jeff grew up boating in the Chesapeake Bay area and shortly after graduating high school, he landed a job as a mate on the 116’ Feadship “The Highlinder” owned by Forbes Magazine. During the next seven years working with Forbes, he worked on three different yachts and logged over 25,000 miles including traveling twice through the St. Lawrence Seaway to Chicago, fourteen times from New York to Florida and crossing the Atlantic on the new yacht in 1985 on the new Highlinder.

After leaving Forbes Inc., Jeff spent five years at Wellcraft dealership where he worked his way up to Assistant Service Manage and delivery Captain.

In 1990, Jeff joined Florida’s largest Sea Ray Dealer as parts Manager and during his five years there he developed relationships with many of the South Florida largest marine vendors.

In 1995, Jeff started his own yacht maintenance business servicing boats ranging from 35’-70’. In 2002, Jeff became a yacht broker and joined Westport in Fort Lauderdale.

Jeff is excited to join the Ocean Alexander team. He is highly respected in the marine industry and thanks to his many years of experience and dedication, he has acquired the skills and the knowledge needed to assist his clients in purchasing a yacht that fits their needs.
